East London Women

These pages feature some research that I have undertaken concerning the lives of women in east London and their part in the campaign for the vote in the early part of the 20th century.

In particular it considers the life and times of Daisy Parsons, suffragette and local politician from West Ham.

There are also some short biographies of some of the leading activists in this part of London.
